About
Harwood on Hudson is a uniquely American neighborhood restaurant helmed by celebrated Chef Terry Harwood of Shelter Island’s Vine Street Café and East Hampton’s Cove Hollow Tavern. Inspired by decades of cooking American food, his upbringing in the South and travels throughout Europe, Terry has created a fresh and flavorful menu for his new restaurant that highlights those experiences and travels. The result is his unique take on today’s New American style of cooking.
Harwood on Hudson will feature new signature dishes and a few updated classics alongside an excellent yet approachable wine list, some unique craft beers and cocktails all in a beautiful space served by happy people. Pastry Chef and co-owner Lisa Harwood is taking the same approach by drawing on her experiences to put a modern twist on her classic homemade desserts, ice creams and sorbets.
Harwood on Hudson is a collaborative effort between the Harwoods and their longtime friends, colleagues and West Village neighbors, Kim Nguyen Block and Bill Block. Together, they have created Harwood on Hudson as a lively and welcoming restaurant perfectly suited for the West Village. A place for neighbors and visitors alike: friends catching up at the bar or breaking bread together, families, couples on date night, solo diners and celebratory occasions.
