Community Tavern, nestled in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago, is a modern American restaurant owned and operated by husband and wife team, Joey & Brenna Beato. Our dream has always been to run our very own elevated 'mom & pop' restaurant in the neighborhood we call home. Chef Joey combines French & Italian technique with inspirations from Japanese & Korean cuisine. His food is a reflection of his upbringing, professional experiences and desire to take care of people with his cooking. Community's extensive beverage program complements Joey's dishes with a diverse wine selection, creative cocktails and craft beer. Our team is small and tight-knit, feeling more like family than colleagues. This fosters an environment of sincere, warm hospitality that radiates throughout our walls.
